I am recruiting a Sales Support Executive for my client, a leading supplier of books, gifts, and stationery to retailers throughout Ireland.
This is based in their North Dublin office and there is no hybrid.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and efficient individual, who will work closely with the National Account Manager, providing day-to-day support while ensuring wholesale customers receive an efficient and professional service.
This is a varied job combining order processing customer service, reporting, and telesales.
A key part of the role will also involve maintaining the company’s B2B ordering platform, ensuring customers have accurate and up-to-date product, pricing, and stock information.
Salary and Package: €40k, may be negotiable but must reflect experience, 5% Pension Contribution.
Responsibilities for the job of B2B Sales Support Executive
- Provide day-to-day administrative and account support to the National Account Manager
- Maintain and update the B2B website, including products, pricing, stock information, and new product listings
- Carry out daily checks of the B2B platform to ensure information is accurate and up to date
- Process and monitor customer orders and assist with any order-related queries
- Act as a key point of contact for wholesale customers regarding products, stock availability, and orders
- Provide a high level of customer service by phone and email
- Contact existing customers regarding new products, titles, gifts, and stationery ranges
- Carry out some outbound telesales activity with existing and prospective customers
- Monitor customer ordering activity and identify products or ranges customers may be interested in
- Support the launch and promotion of new products and ranges
- Liaise with internal teams including supply chain, warehouse, and sales
- Assist with sales reports and general account administration
- Ensure customer and product information is maintained accurately across internal systems
Requirements for the job of B2B Sales Support Executive
- An interest in books is in advantage
- Previous experience in sales administration, account support, customer service, telesales, or a similar office-based role
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Confident communicating with customers by phone and email
- Experience within books, gifts, stationery, wholesale, or retail would be an advantage but is not essential
