Store Manager

We here at Excel Recruitment are recruiting for an unbeatable opportunity to join our client in South Dublin/Wicklow. They are a hugely successful grocery retail business who are seeking a Store Manager to lead their team in South Dublin.

Salary: €42k-€45k

Our client is a rapidly growing and leader in the Irish retail industry. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to get into a large retailer and who wants to develop their management career with a large retailer.

Responsibilities of a Store Manager:

• Responsible for the store’s performance, ensuring the shop is profitable and controlling costs
• Overseeing the daily running of a fast-paced grocery store
• Organising and delegating duties to staff and managers
• Fulfilling the coaching and training needs of the store
• Ensuring the store is fully compliant with hygiene procedures and the standard of merchandise is kept to the highest level
• Engaging with the local communities to build brand awareness while also ensuring the level of customer care is top-class service

Requirements for this Grocery Store Manager job:

• Previous experience of managing a busy convenience store or a supermarket with a fresh food focus
• You must have outstanding experience managing a team of staff and managers
• We are seeking a manager with a keen commercial acumen to run the business side of the store
• Must have a strong work ethic and thrive under pressure
