We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join a supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care while providing guidance and support to a team of Support Workers.

In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for those you support, while helping to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
• Lead by example and provide guidance to Support Workers within the service.
• Administer and record medication in line with organisational policies and procedures.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required.
• Support service users to achieve greater independence and wellbeing.
• Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and accurate record keeping.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for service users.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker.
• Experience administering medication is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A caring, empathetic, and person-centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• A minimum of 6 months’ professional care experience is essential.
