Our client, a leading UK sports/fashion retailer with a dominant presence in the Irish market is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager for their successful Dublin City Centre store.

With stores across Ireland and known for their selection of the biggest brands, this is a wonderful job opportunity for a strong people leader with strong operational and commercial experience in fashion/non-food retailing.

This job opportunity will suit a people leader with excellent commercial and operational acumen coupled with the ability to lead and motivate a strong sales team to achieve all set and agreed KPI’s.

Salary package:

  • €44-45K
  • OTE up to 25% – paid monthly

Skills and experience required for this job:

  • 2+ years of senior assistant management experience
  • Retail management experience within a fast-paced and KPI-driven fashion or non-food retail environment
  • Experience in managing a large turnover and a high-volume business
  • An inspirational leader with experience in leading and coaching large teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal capabilities and people management experience
  • Excellent commercial acumen

Responsibilities of this job:

  • Achieve financial objectives and KPIs
  • Drive sales and service across the store ensuring excellent product knowledge
  • Mentor, coach, and motivate a strong sales-orientated team
  • Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
  • Ensure the store is well merchandised and in accordance to company plan
  • Analyse sales trading reports and react accordingly with corrective action
  • Maintain store staffing levels by recruiting, selecting, and training employees
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
