This person will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships and promoting a wide range of brands and services to achieve revenue targets. This Field Sales Manager will also mentor the current sales team and implement strategic sales plans in order to increase market share while delivering exceptional customer service. This role will be a mix of client facing in the field and working closely with our management team at Head Office in Dublin.
Responsibilities:

- Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions, and training sessions, acting as a brand ambassador
- Spot any potential issues affecting sales early and take steps to manage them
- Report regularly on performance, tracking key sales metrics like pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, conversion rates, and sales cycle length
- Travel across Ireland to meet customers and stay connected with teams on the ground
- Maintain a strong presence across all product ranges, helping to boost sales through visits and remote support
- Work with different departments to promote a strong customer service focus and resolve any issues that arise.
- Confidently put together sales proposals and presentations for both internal teams and external clients
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions and provide trusted advice
- Highly structured and methodical with a background in creating and developing highly functional sales teams
- Expert at time management and prioritising tasks
- High achiever with a proven track record and a hunger to succeed
- Previous experience in a Business Development role, ideally in FMCG or DIY sectors, would be preferred but not essential
