About the Role
As a Relief Chef, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients by providing cover across a range of catering sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cover for chefs during annual leave, sickness, and other absences
- Support newly opened catering sites during their launch period
- Assist kitchens during busy service periods or when additional staffing is required
- Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals in line with client specifications
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance
- Work collaboratively with onsite teams to ensure efficient and seamless kitchen operations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef in contract catering or a fast-paced commercial kitchen is desirable
- The ability to adapt quickly to different kitchen environments and teams
- A reliable, professional, and positive approach to work
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP procedures
- Flexibility to travel to client locations throughout Waterford
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport is desirable
