We are recruiting for an experienced Deli Manager to lead a busy and successful fresh food department within a well-established Supermarket in Laois.

This role offers a competitive salary of €35,000 – €45,000 DOE, Excellent benefits package and the opportunity to lead a high-performing fresh food department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of fresh food colleagues.
• Drive sales, margin performance and waste control.
• Manage stock ordering, stock rotation and inventory controls.
• Ensure the department maintains the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure HACCP, food safety and health & safety standards are fully compliant.
• Monitor department performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Train and develop team members to maximise performance and progression.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Deli Manager, Deli Supervisor or Fresh Food Manager.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and fresh food operations.
• Experience managing sales, margins, ordering and waste.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for food retail.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
