Fresh Food Manager – Maynooth

With major expansion and a full store revamp planned for Q2, this role offers the chance to take ownership of an evolving fresh food department and play a key role in shaping the store’s future food offering.
Salary: €50k DOE
The Role:
- Manage the overall performance of the fresh food departments including deli, bakery and butchers
- Lead, train and develop fresh food teams
- Maintain exceptional standards in food quality, hygiene and presentation
- Drive sales growth, margin performance and waste control
- Manage stock ordering, production planning and cost control
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
The Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Fresh Food Manager in a supermarket environment
- Strong knowledge of fresh food operations and food safety standards
- Experience leading and motivating large teams in a busy retail setting
- Commercial mindset with the ability to drive sales and control costs
- Passion for delivering high-quality fresh food and excellent customer service
