Excel Recruitment is delighted to announce we are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our retail client based in Cork .

Ideal for Skilled Butcher, Assistant Butcher, and Senior Butcher

Salary: €35k – €40k

Responsibilities:

• Cutting, grinding, and preparing meats for sale
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive
• Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products (pre-pack experience)
• Performing quality inspections on meats and other products (HACCP)
• Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls
• Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering questions, and accepting orders or payments

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Butcher
• Vast knowledge of meat, fish, and poultry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team under pressure
