Our client, a well-established and iconic FMCG and Non-Food Irish retail chain is seeking to recruit a Supervisor for their store in Galway City. This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic Supervisor looking to join a large company where substantial retail business management exposure and professional development are on offer. This is a 30-hour contract.
The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory fashion, grocery, or non-food experience coupled with the ability to display strong customer interaction experience.
As part of the store management team, you will be instrumental in achieving store KPIs, motivating and inspiring a large team of sales assistants, and ensuring all customers receive the ultimate experience.
Responsibilities of this job include:
- Drive sales, service, and KPIs throughout the store
- Manage, motivate and encourage a team of sales assistants
- Ensure excellent store standards are delivered at all times
- Drive promotions, bestsellers, and new arrivals
- Carry out regular stock takes to identify profit loss threats
- Ensure company policies and procedures are implemented
- Communicate targets and goals with the team
Skills and experience required for this job:
- Previous retail supervisory experience
- Ambitious and eager to learn
- People management and leadership capabilities
- Track record of promoting superior customer service
- Strong KPI experience
- Excellent communication skills
