Assistant Store Manager – Galway

Are you an ambitious manager with a passion for retail? Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for our client, a busy forecourt retailer in Co. Galway.

Salary package: €30,000 – €35,000 DOE

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an extremely successful forecourt retailer, which is a household name and is part of a thriving network of stores. This job would suit an Assistant Manager, Duty Manager or Trainee Manager who wants to progress their career in retail.

This is a full-time job with plentiful training and career progression opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Achieving sales targets and KPIs, maximising profits and controlling costs
• All aspects of stock management: stocktaking, ordering, rotation
• Assisting the Manager in driving sales and standards in-store
• Regularly liaising with staff, management, head office and suppliers

Who you are:

• A dynamic individual with previous experience in the grocery retail industry
• A proven track record in leading and motivating a team of staff members
• Target-driven with a drive to surpass sales targets and KPIs
