With a 46-resident capacity, this nursing home provides the highest standard of care in a personalised and holistic manner. This role would suit an ADON or a CNM with extensive experience in a management capacity.

Requirements of this Director of Nursing role:

  • Registered with NMBI and hold an active pin.
  • Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is essential.
  • Minimum 3 year’s experience in the nursing of older people within the last 6 years.
  • Proven clinical competence and passion in delivering outstanding care to older people
  • Currently residing in Ireland, with a valid work visa [if required]

Responsibilities of this Director of Nursing Role:

  • The day-to-day professional and managerial responsibility for the nursing home.
  • You will be accountable for the implementation of the clinical strategy and development of clinical practices and for ensuring professional leadership
  • Ensuring professional leadership and the continuous professional development of clinical staff
