Staff Nurse

We, at Excel Healthcare, are delighted to be recruiting for the role of Staff Nurse on behalf of our client in Kildare. The role will be based in a modern care home, just minutes from Maynooth town.

Our client provides long-term residential care as well as respite and palliative care. The purpose-built home is bright and contemporary, and our client promotes residents’ individuality and independence. The nursing staff is supported by a team of experienced healthcare assistants in a supportive and friendly working environment. This is the perfect opportunity for a Staff Nurse who is looking for work close to home.

Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse:

• Assess and implement individualized resident care plans
• Liaise with CNM regarding any changes in the resident’s condition
• Medication management
• Work collaboratively with the team of healthcare assistants

Requirements:

• NMBI registered
• Nursing degree
• Post-graduate experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
