As Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in the store’s day-to-day operations, maintain excellent store standards, manage stock levels, and lead the way in delivering the best service to all customers.

Responsibilities of this job:

  • Drive sales, service, and KPIs throughout the store
  • Manage, motivate and encourage a team of sales consultants
  • Ensure store standards are delivered at all times
  • Ensure strong visual merchandising standards are delivered at all times
  • Drive promotions, bestsellers, and new arrivals
  • Analyse sales reports and ensure all stock orders are carried out in a timely manner
  • Manage stock levels ensuring all orders are commercial
  • Communicate and achieve set and agreed KPI’s including ATV, UPT, conversion, and shrinkage
  • Carry out regular stock takes to identify profit loss threats and ensure company policies and procedures are implemented
  • Liaise with Directors and Area Managers regularly ensuring company plan is being achieved

Experience required for this job includes:

  • 2+ years of retail management/supervisory experience within a fast-paced retail store
  • Experience in visual merchandising and visual displays
  • Strong KPI experience
  • Experience in carrying out stock orders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong training and development experience essential

Salary package:

Excel Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a fast-growing multinational company based in Galway.
The Quantity Surveyor you will work collaboratively with the contracts manager and management team to deliver high quality projects from inception to handover.

Responsibilities:
o Prepare Tender Submissions including Take Offs/ Compile BOQ from drawings, identify issues within the tender documents and Assess Drawings, BOQs & Work Requirements at Tender Stage.
o Prepare subcontract and suppliers procurement documents.
o Support the Project Delivery Team by negotiating and agreeing on works with subcontractors.
o Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports, cash flows, variations and submit final accounts in a timely manner.
o Advising on contractual matters – general and project level

Requirements:
o Hold Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
o A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects in Ireland and/or the UK
o Highly motivated hard-working individual who can work on their own or as part as a team

Assist Site management to ensure Contractor Compliance on Sites.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in in managing safety systems in construction is required, including a qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred

Able to manage Health and Safety on-site using their own initiative within the scope of the management system

Strong relationship builder and ability to leverage key relationships across the full spectrum of project stakeholders and statutory bodies
