This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build on their experience of working with vulnerable adults in a residential setting. Our client provides convalescence and long-term care to adults with varying conditions, in their recently opened care facility which also has a large transitional care unit. This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job

  • Assisting residents with personal care needs
  • Liaising with the nurse on duty about residents’ care and condition
  • Promote residents’ independence and provide support
  • Maintain residents’ safety

Our client provides long-term residential care, respite care, and care to those with acquired brain injuries. The successful Physiotherapist will review residents on a need’s basis in addition to working collaboratively with the nurses and healthcare assistants to promote resident’s mobility and independence. This role will primarily be based in Mullingar, with some travel to the surrounding areas. Job Responsibilities:

  • Review residents and develop individualised treatment plans
  • Advise the nursing staff and work collaboratively on patients care plans
