Our clients are some of Ireland’s largest hospitality & catering groups and are looking for candidates to join their growing team in some of the leading Companies, Hotels, and Restaurants in Cork.

The Catering Assistant Job will cover the following responsibilities:

  • Food preparation and replenishing of food displays
  • Serving meals
  • Ensuring Health and Safety are met
  • Reporting any problems to the Catering Manager
  • Providing customers with a 5 Star experience

The requirements for the Catering Assistant Job are:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills are needed
  • Daytime Hours vary Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:00
  • Cashier experience is an advantage but not needed
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and as part of a team
  • Manual Handling & HACCP certification is required – Training can be provided

Responsibilities of a Kitchen Cleaner

Ensuring that all necessary cleaning tasks are conducted to the highest standards

Cleaning Kitchen utensils such as pots and pans in an efficient and thorough manner

Being constantly mindful of the need to keep all surfaces, floors, and walls exceptionally clean

Unloading and packing deliveries of equipment and food

Handling and Preparing food in accordance Haccp standards

Kitchen Cleaner Requirements

Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or hospitality role

Manual Handling & HACCP Training. These can be provided by Excel if required.

Clear communication skills – good level of spoken English

Ability to work well off own initiative and react quickly to any issues that may arise

Willingness to cooperate and work with colleagues as part of a team

Ability to follow instructions effectively from Supervisors
