Job Purpose:
The Senior Psychologist will deliver advanced psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents referred to CAMHS. The role also involves working closely with families and carers, contributing to service development, and providing supervision and consultation within the MDT.
You will be highly skilled and experienced in delivering and developing an evidence-based therapeutic service, with a record of being a compassionate and inclusive leader.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
- Eligibility for professional registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or relevant body.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years at Senior or equivalent level
- Experience of assessing and providing a wide range of psychological interventions to patients presenting with the full degree of clinical severity and across a range of clinical mental health presentations across the life span and care settings
- Strong background working with children and young people with co-morbid mental
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and to liaise effectively with other professionals.
