My client is a very successful business with Nail & Beauty Salons nationwide and they are expanding rapidly with more stores opening in November. Exciting times!
I have a vacany in their Waterford City location.
They have created a brand-new senior role of Retail Beauty Manager; someone who will manage all the commercial and operational aspects of a very fast-paced business and who can coach and lead a team of up to 12 including an Assistant Manager.
Salary is €32K-€35K negotiable but must reflect experience and bonus.
The ideal candidate does not need to come from this industry but they must have a real passion for beauty and a track record of management at some level.
I welcome both junior (looking for a step up) and senior candidates from areas such as Retail, Salon, Spa, Hair Salon, Hospitality, Restaurant and Front of House.
Responsibilities for the job of Retail Beauty Manager
- Managing the day to day running of the busy salon and reception desk area and motivating the team, ensuring sales targets are met and high customer service standards are maintained
- Through your leadership you will develop the team to deliver exceptional service, to recruit new customers whilst engaging existing customers, to create strong connections and build relationships and securing brand loyalty
- You will drive KPI’s through encouraging your team to identify and maximise sales opportunities to deliver your store goals and targets
- Business planning with a proactive as well as reactive approach will be key in driving your team always with a hands-on authentic leadership style remaining solutions driven
- Managing your team’s performance through creating development plans to ensure the therapists reach their potential and maximise revenue
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience for all clients on their customer journey from start to finish
- Booking/confirming appointments and briefing each therapist on their appointments for the day
- Managing the stock levels ensuring the counter remains stocked at all times, ordering and replenishment of stock and reporting any concerns to head office immediately
- Ensuring that you have sufficient cover for your store based on the staff rosters and scheduling the rosters onto the appointment system
- Responding to emails, calls and general customer enquiries
- Dealing with complaints and ensuring they are dealt with promptly
- End of day closing and cashing up procedures
- Opening and closing the store
