Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to a consistent standard
  • Supporting kitchen operations in line with health and safety regulations
  • Adapting quickly to new environments and teams
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workspace
  • Assisting with menu development and service where required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or higher
  • Strong culinary skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Flexibility and the ability to work across multiple locations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A professional, reliable, and proactive attitude

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Chef to join our clients for ongoing work in Dublin and the surrounding areas through our agency. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with Monday to Friday shifts, evening and weekends also available.

Chef Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking meals.
  • In-date HACCP & Manual Handling certification (training can be provided by Excel if required).
  • Strong experience maintaining health & safety and food safety regulations.
  • Team player with a passion for food and hospitality.
  • Adapting to the specific needs of different venues and clients.

Chef Responsibilities:

  • Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
  • Always maintain cleanliness in both your personal workspace and throughout the kitchen.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, within the set timescales, and to site requirements.
  • Adhere to food production and waste management levels.
