Excel Recruitment are currently seeking a Retail HR Manager to support and partner with operational leaders across a growing retail business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operational leaders to support business objectives and people initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management and employment law.
- Lead recruitment, on-boarding and retention strategies.
- Support leadership development and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives.
- Manage disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and best practices.
- Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Support organisational change and business growth initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with managers and employees across the business.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a HR Manager, HRBP or Senior HR role.
- Experience working in retail, hospitality, FMCG or another fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven employee relations experience.
- Strong coaching, influencing and leadership abilities.
- CIPD qualification desirable.

This is a fantastic job opportunity for an experienced people-focused senior store Manager/senior retail manager with excellent experience in people leadership, change management and people engagement.
As People & Culture Manager you will oversee all human resource requirements within the store. Supporting the General Store Manager, you will work closely with the store leadership team, support best practices across people, service, advice, and standards, and carry out our client’s people/team strategy.

- Manage on-boarding and induction processes for new employees as well as off boarding of leavers
- Update and maintain employee documentation/personnel files such as employment contracts & handbooks
- Collaborate with finance and payroll department to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the payroll cycle
- Ensure recruitment and succession plans are supported
- Ensure employee matters are resolved effectively & efficiently
- Support management team with coaching and development of employees

Skills and experience required for this job:
- Senior retail store management experience in high-volume retail
- CIPD/HR qualification or working towards achieving this
- Experience with leading large teams of 50+
- Experience working with unions and contracts is advantageous

- Demonstrate agility by being flexible and open to change
