Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Relief Chef for an immediate start with a busy food service operation in County Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys structured daytime hours and preparing high-quality, nutritious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals to a high standard
- Assist with meal preparation and portioning in line with daily production requirements
- Ensure all food safety and HACCP procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and storage
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and on schedule
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or similar role
- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety procedures
- Manual Handling and HACCP certificates (or willingness to complete training)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Legal entitlement to work in Ireland
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport is an advantage
