We are currently recruiting reliable and energetic Events Staff to support a range of temporary event roles across Cork. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy fast-paced environments, can work well as part of a team, and are committed to delivering a high standard of service at busy events and venues.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, equipment, and service areas
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests throughout events
• Support food and beverage service, queue management, and general guest assistance as required
• Maintain clean, organised, and safe working areas throughout each shift
• Follow all health & safety procedures and venue guidelines at all times
• Work efficiently with the wider team to ensure events run smoothly

Requirements

• Previous experience in events, hospitality, catering, or customer service is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• A team-focused attitude with the ability to take initiative when needed
• Good awareness of health & safety and customer service standards
• Manual Handling certification is an advantage, though training can be facilitated
• Reliable, punctual, and well presented
• Flexibility to work temporary shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Take orders, operate tills/EPOS, and process payments accurately

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bar, hotel, or hospitality environment
