Responsibilities of this Fashion Buyer job include:
- Source, develop and build product ranges to reflect current trends, ensuring each range is commercial and meets company objectives, sales targets and customer needs
- Analyse performance and review current range to ensure that sales, margins and profit are achieved
- Take appropriate action in-season on repeats, cancellations and rescheduling of orders
- Prepare for & present regular range reviews and presentations
- Negotiating with a wide supply base to ensure the best possible price and margin for goods is achieved
- Maintaining and building strong working relationships with the supply base and sourcing new suppliers
- Keep up to date with and interpret trends, and constantly review competitors in the marketplace
- Collaborating with the design team on trends and product development
- Presenting to senior management
- Take responsibility for own development as well as manage the training of junior team members

Procurement Administrator Dublin
Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a Procurement Administrator for our client based in South Dublin. This administrator will support commercial management and be the focal point of contact for the procurement team, ensuring that all documentation and related details are entered correctly on to internal systems. This position would suit an experienced administrator who would like to take on more responsibility and grow their career.
Main Responsibilities
- Review all purchase requisitions raised on the ERP system for accuracy
- Set up and manage the administration of new suppliers
- Create and issue PO’s through internal systems
- Reporting on monthly procurement card purchases
- First point of contact for suppliers queries
- Daily management of email client, responding, categorising and responding to queries
- Supporting management through the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Other ad hoc administration duties as required
Main Requirements
- At least 2 years administration experience in a similar position
