Responsibilities of this Buying Assistant job include:
- Managing, creating and updating purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, including FOB orders.
- Amending replenishment figures to reflect sales patterns.
- Updating delivery dates in collaboration with Logistics and Central Purchasing teams and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting Buyers and Head Buyers to ensure top-selling and promotional products are adequately stocked.
- Monitoring stock levels both online and in-store through forecasting, planning and replenishment.
- Monitoring competitor pricing and assisting in creating promotional bundles and offers.
- Setting up promotions and preparing POS materials for in-store activity.
- Communicating with customer service to resolve queries promptly.
- Liaising regularly with suppliers and internal teams to build strong working relationships.
Requirements for this Buying Assistant job include:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
- Highly numerate and process-focused.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- SAP experience is advantageous.

This person will work alongside the purchasing team and will lead projects both nationally and internationally.
