Area Manager – Fashion Cork
Our client, a leading and expanding national charity retail chain is seeking to recruit an inspirational, energetic, and ambitious Area Manager/Senior Store Manager to join their leadership team in Cork/Munster. This is a wonderful and exciting opportunity for a passionate fashion retailer with a zest for sustainability, retro and vintage retail.
As an Area Manager, you will report into the Regional Manager on all aspects of driving sales, service, commercial standards and donations across your area.
This role will require an inspirational leader to motivate, coach and develop your team of store managers and volunteers across 15+ stores in achieving KPIs, company and store goals .

Skills and experience required for this job:
- 3+ years of high-volume fashion/home retail area management or senior store management experience
- Excellent team leadership skills
- Exceptional business acumen with great visual and commercial skills
- Creative with excellent visual commercial experience
- Financial, P&L, and KPIs reporting experience is essential
- Proven ability to develop and achieve a retail strategy
- Passion for the voluntary/not-for-profit / sustainability retail industry
The responsibilities of this Area Manager job:
- Report directly to the Regional Manager & Head of Retail on your sales, profitability, and KPIs for the area
- Support, mentor and coach a team of Store Managers in achieving their goals
- Review stores performance versus plan, sales donations, store merchandise, floor space, and service
- Driving performance by training, challenging, motivating, and providing feedback
- Coordinating with Head Office on stock packages, products, and price
- Maintaining all financial budgets and costs to ensure maximum profit
- Recruiting new donation partners and fund-raising programs
