Excel Recruitment is excited to announce we are seeking a Deli Supervisor for a leading retailer located in Mayo.
A progressive retailer with a strong focus on its fresh food offerings our client has seen significant growth in the past year and is looking to add to their team. This role will see you work alongside the Deli Manager ensuring standards are maintained and a fantastic customer experience is always provided.
This is the ideal role for a Deli Assistant seeking the next step or an experience Deli Supervisor seeking their next challenge.
Your roles and responsibilities Deli Supervisor:
- Day to day management of the Deli department, managing and delegating tasks to staff members and ensuring all rostered hours are used in a productive manner
- Ensure all HACCP and food safety requirements are met, and that all reports are completed and filed accordingly
- Ordering in of stock, ensure stock control and stock rotation is completed.
- Be creative and have inspiring ideas to go the department.
- Stock taking and counting results
Who you are:
- Previous deli experience, preferably in a senior capacity
- Fully HACCP and food safety trained
- Must have experience in placing orders and managing waste
