Responsibilities of Accommodation Assistants:

  • Clean bedrooms assigned to you with the highest standard – this involves making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, removing rubbish, refilling rooms with towels and toiletries, and vacuuming.

Excel Recruitment is hiring a Housekeeper for our client, a large residential care facility in the beautiful countryside of Co. Mayo. This role is part-time and primarily weekend shifts, so may suit a student looking for weekend work, or a candidate looking for part-time hours.

The care home is located between Charlestown and Knock Airport and emanates warmth and comfort. Our client maintains high standards of both care and facilities for residents. To manage the upkeep of the home, both daily cleaning and deep cleaning is carried out by the housekeeping staff. This role will involve routine cleaning of resident’s rooms and living spaces as well as bathrooms and offices. Some interaction with residents is expected, so the ideal candidate will be understanding and possess good communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

  • Routine and deep cleaning of floors, bathrooms, rooms and living spaces
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment
