As a Social Care Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals within residential and community-based services. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote well being, independence, and positive outcomes for service users while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and support in accordance with individual care plans
  • Promote independence, dignity, and social inclusion for service users
  • Support daily living activities and encourage the development of life skills
  • Build positive and professional relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes

Essential Requirements

  • CORU Registration as a Social Care Worker is essential
  • A recognised qualification in Social Care or a related discipline
  • Previous experience within residential, disability, mental health, or community services desirable
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and waking nights
  • Full right to work in Ireland
