Security Guard

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a PSA Licensed Security Officer to provide professional on-site security services in Co.Clare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Shift Pattern:

12-hour shifts
Ongoing work available
Regular, consistent shifts

Pay Rate:

€15.41 per hour + Shift Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring to sign in visitors on site.
Conduct regular site patrols
Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely manner
Complete incident and daily activity reports
Ensure compliance with site security procedures
Provide a professional and approachable presence at all times

Requirements:

Valid and in-date PSA Licence (mandatory)
Up-to-date Manual Handling Certificate
Previous security experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Professional appearance and reliable work ethic

Here at Excel Recruitment we have an amazing opportunity that is not to be missed. Our client, an award-winning retailer are seeking an experienced Security Officer to join their business based in South Dublin.

If you are a Security Officer with retail experience and want to get away from the unsocial hours and work in a retail setting that offers suitable hours and work balance lifestyle then this is the role for you. The primary function is the prevention of anything that is likely to cause loss, waste, damage or inconvenience to the client or its customers.

Full-time permanent contract €15.54 per hr.

Requirements of the Retail -Security Officer:

Current, Valid PSA License
Fluent English -written and oral
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to work with CCTV systems
Be flexible of working hours

Responsibilities of the Retail Security Officer:

Pro-actively ensuring the protection of employees, property and assets
Creating a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors
Accurately reporting all incidents
Preventing and detecting offences on site
Producing written reports
Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and other recording systems.
