Excel Recruitment is now looking for a Rigid Drivers to join our well know client’s team in Naas
This position will give you the chance to develop skills and experience with a market leading brand along with a competitive salary and excellent benefits
Working Hours are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am – 4pm on Fridays, 1 hour for lunch.
Responsibilities:
- To organise and maintain safely all delivery documents
- To ensure the highest quality of customer service on a daily basis
- To ensure all orders are delivered correctly, on-time and in good order and in accordance with company policy and training.
- To maintain the upkeep of vehicle inside and out
- To ensure servicing of vehicle and any issues with it are dealt with in a timely manner
- Person Specification / Core Competencies
- Customer service skills
- Communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
Essential Skills:
- Good attendance and disciplinary record.
- Full clean C and C1 licence with current drivers CPC completed
- Experience in a similar role preferable
- Good time management essential
- Good road courtesy and detail to vehicle care
- Work on own initiative as well as part of a good team
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Take full responsibility for using tachographs and the proper use of the mode switches and the downloading of the driver’s tachograph card.
