We are currently recruiting a Pastry Chef for a well‑established 4* hotel in County Meath. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional, high‑quality hotel kitchen where pastry, baking, and dessert standards are genuinely valued.
This role would suit a Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef de Partie, or pastry‑focused Commis Chef ready to step up, who is passionate about creating high‑quality desserts and baked goods in a supportive hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high‑quality desserts, pastries, cakes, and baked goods
- Deliver pastry service for the hotel restaurant, events, and banqueting
- Maintain consistent standards of taste, quality, and presentation
- Assist with dessert menus, specials, and seasonal offerings
- Ensure all pastry mise en place and production schedules are met
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient pastry section
- Follow all HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations
- Work collaboratively with chefs across all kitchen sections
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef de Partie, or Pastry‑trained Chef
- Background in a hotel, restaurant, or professional kitchen environment
- Strong pastry and baking skills with good attention to detail
- Passion for desserts, presentation, and fresh ingredients
- Ability to work well in a busy kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Reliable, organised, and positive team player
