Location: Roscrea, North Tipperary / South Offaly
Service: Residential, Adult Disabilities
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent, four day week
Salary Scale: €62,077.17 – €76,158.63 per annum (based on a 4 day week Mon-Fri)

This role offers an excellent work-life balance with a 4-day working week (Monday-Friday)-no long shifts or weekends.

About the Role

As CNM2 you will provide clinical and operational leadership across three residential houses:

  • 1 house supporting 1 adult resident
  • 2 houses supporting 3 adult residents in each home

You will lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring a safe, empowering, and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage nursing and care teams across three residential settings
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with HIQA standards
  • Support, mentor, and develop staff through coaching and supervision
  • Oversee care planning, clinical governance, and service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Drive continuous improvement, quality initiatives, and best practice

Essential Criteria

    • Active NMBI registration (RNID or RGN with relevant experience)
    • Management qualification (QQI Level 6 or equivalent)
    • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in disability services
    • Have previous experience at CNM1 level/ equivalent within the area of Intellectual Disability
    • Previous leadership experience (CNM1 or equivalent desirable)
  • Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act 2007, and the role of the person in charge.
  • Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and the capacity to manage change.
      • Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies
      • Full clean driving licence and access to a car
