Position: Healthcare Assistant
Location: Dublin
Hours: Full-Time
Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents with daily living activities and personal care needs
  • Promote dignity, independence, choice, and wellbeing at all times
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of resident care
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Follow all healthcare policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or caring for vulnerable individuals is desirable
  • Experience working with older persons is an advantage but not essential
  • QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification completed, or currently working towards completion of all 8 modules
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, empathetic, and professional approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland
  • Ability to provide two satisfactory and contactable references

  • Eligibility to work in Ireland and currently residing in the country.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous.

Mandatory Certifications

The following training certificates must be in date:

  • Patient Manual Handling
  • CPR / Basic Life Support
  • HACCP Level 2
