Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of store performance, driving sales, margin, and profitability
- Lead, develop, and motivate a large team to deliver strong results
- Maintain exceptional standards across fresh food, grocery, and store operations
- Monitor and analyse key KPIs, implementing action plans to drive performance
- Manage labour, stock control, and cost efficiency across the business
- Ensure high standards in customer service and overall shopping experience
- Maintain full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager within grocery or high-volume retail
- Experience managing high-turnover stores and delivering strong commercial performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop large teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of driving sales and profitability
- Passion for fresh food and maintaining exceptional store standards
- A hands-on leadership style with excellent organisational and communication skills
