Facilities Manager for Multi-site Retail
My retail client operates motor dealerships alongside several award-winning, large forecourt and service station sites in premium motorway locations across Kildare and Dublin.
I am recruiting an experienced Facilities Manager with a minimum of three years’ multi-site facilities management experience.
This role is based in Monasterevin, Kildare, and operates Monday to Friday; however, flexibility for weekend or after-hours work may be required for major projects or emergencies.
The ideal candidate will hold a project management or engineering qualification, have experience maintaining facilities to a high standard, and have previously managed a facilities team.
The successful candidate will oversee the planning, costing, implementation, and delivery of multiple projects, while managing day-to-day facilities operations and preventative maintenance across existing sites, including Health and Safety, Fire Safety, and Security Compliance.
Salary: €70k-€80k negotiable but must reflect experience.
Responsibilities for the job of Facilities Manager:
- Oversee facilities asset management, maintenance, and upkeep across multiple sites
- Plan and manage facilities projects, ensuring all sites operate efficiently and to a high standard
- Source and manage contractors and suppliers for refurbishment works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed standards
- Act as the key point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and local authorities
- Ensure all site services meet relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
- Maintain secure, compliant, and well-managed site environments
- Manage emergency response procedures, including security, alarms, and out-of-hours callouts
- Coordinate the repair, renewal, and upkeep of mechanical services across the sites
- Drive high standards and introduce improvements in line with best practice, business needs, and legal requirements
- Manage Health and Safety standards, procedures, and compliance across the sites
- Oversee fire safety procedures, standards, and compliance requirements

This position would suit a General Manager that has hospitality and or facilities management experience that would like to move to a group role. - Completing competitor and market analysis to ensure the business is on trend with the current costs and practices
- Management of security on site including access to the complex and security systems
Main Requirements
- 5 Years previous experience in hospitality or facilities management
- Strong financial acumen and strategic planning
- Confident leader and communicator with an ability to influence stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong IT and systems experience
