Chef, Relief Shifts, Weekly Pay, Dublin
Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Relief Chefs to join our growing temporary team across Dublin and Co. Dublin. Rate of pay €18-€20 per hour plus premium Sunday rates.
We have ongoing work available in hospitals, healthcare facilities, contract catering units, staff restaurants, hospitality venues, and event catering settings. With regular shifts available every week, this is an excellent opportunity for chefs seeking flexibility, extra income, or full-time hours.
As a Relief Chef with Excel Recruitment, you will have the freedom to choose assignments that suit your schedule while gaining experience in a variety of kitchen environments.

Chef Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals to a high standard
- Work efficiently in busy kitchen environments
- Follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen
- Assist with stock control and minimise food waste
- Support kitchen teams during service
- Comply with all health and safety requirements
Chef Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Experience in healthcare, hospitality, contract catering, or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Own transport is an advantage as some client sites are not accessible by public transport
