If you have experience managing fresh food departments such as Butchery, Meat, Poultry, Fish, Deli, or Fresh Foods, this could be the perfect next step in your retail career.

As Fresh Food / Protein Manager, you will take ownership of the store’s fresh protein offering, ensuring exceptional standards across quality, presentation, availability, profitability, and customer service.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous management or supervisory experience within a supermarket fresh food environment
  • Experience in butchery, protein, fresh food, deli or food retail management
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to grow sales and control costs
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills
  • A passion for fresh food and delivering exceptional standards
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
