As an Acute Registered General Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients within busy acute healthcare settings. You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred nursing care
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Administer medications safely and in accordance with hospital policies
  • Monitor patient conditions and escalate concerns where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Adhere to HIQA standards, infection prevention protocols, and clinical guidelines
  • Promote patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
  • Respond professionally and compassionately to patient needs in a fast-paced acute environment

Essential Requirements:

  • Active NMBI registration as a Registered General Nurse
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland
  • Previous acute nursing experience desirable
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant nursing certifications and mandatory training
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Own transport desirable but not essential
