Our client operates a retreat centre in North Dublin, welcoming guests and hosting events on a recently redeveloped on‑site property. With a strong religious and community-focused background, guest care and sensitivity to the centre’s ethos are essential. The Reception Manager will oversee front‑of‑house operations, guest experience, and coordination between internal teams. This position would suit a Duty Manager or Reception Manager form a 4 or 5 star Hotel who would like to move away from late nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all guests arriving on campus.
  • Manage reception duties including meet & greet, check-ins, daily queries, and general administration.
  • Oversee the guest experience, ensuring comfort, clarity of information, and alignment with the centre’s values.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding dietary needs and guest information.
  • Support operations across the retreat property, including an events space on site.
  • Assist with scheduling, bookings, and general facility operations.
  • Ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of the reception area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Reception Manager or Duty Manager, ideally in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Warm, professional, and guest‑focused communication skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and respectfully within a religious / spiritual setting.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
