Excel Healthcare is currently hiring for a Psychiatric Nurse to join our team for temporary nursing shifts. This position will catered toward your current location or where you can commute to as we are aware of client needs country wide.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse who is looking to move to full time agency or to fit some hours in around your full time position. There are full and part time hours available, ongoing work, and a great selection of clients to choose work from. This role is more suited to someone with the availability to work in Kilkenny or Carlow

When working with us you would receive weekly pay, Premium Sunday/Bank Holiday pay, holiday accrual and a consultant to help you with any questions you might have.
The rate of pay for the position is based on HSE payscales for HSE work, with private and section 39 shifts also available. Please be aware verification of service will be required for payscale

Self-employed staff are encouraged to apply also, as Excel is one of few agencies who work with self employed staff

We at Excel Healthcare are seeking a Healthcare Assistant for our client’s psychiatric care facility in North Dublin. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in mental health services.

This client provides care to adults with acute mental health services, long-term care for those with psychiatric needs and two-day hospitals. They have recently expanded their services which are set in a bright and modern building making it welcoming and less clinical so that service users feel more at ease. The work ethic is team-based to enable and support service users in their therapeutic journey. If you are a Healthcare Assistant who shows compassion and respect to others, this role is for you.

Responsibilities for this Healthcare Assistant:

  • Provide personal, emotional and practical support to service users
  • Promote service users use of effective communication and interaction with others
  • Encourage independence and advocate on behalf of service users as required
  • Working closely with other members of the staff team
  • Work in accordance with all Hospital Policies and Procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support
  • Caring and empathetic in nature
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage
