General Operative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and fit a variety of flooring materials, primarily carpets.
  • Prepare surfaces for floor laying, ensuring cleanliness and accuracy.
  • Use boom systems to lift and manoeuvre rolls of carpet and materials as required.
  • Work on residential and commercial projects across the Dublin area.
  • Deliver high-quality finishes and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in floor fitting or carpet installation.
  • Proven experience operating a boom for lifting and material handling.
  • Good understanding of different flooring types and installation techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Forklift Driver

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate boom forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Move flooring materials to designated areas on-site
  • Carry out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
  • Support the floor fitting team with general site duties when needed
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift license with boom forklift experience (essential) with 3 years of experience
  • Previous experience in a construction or flooring environment is preferred
  • Good knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
