Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, cakes, and confectionery products to a consistently high standard
- Ensure all products are produced in line with company recipes, specifications, and quality standards
- Manage daily production schedules to meet customer demand while minimising waste
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health and safety regulations
- Support the development of new bakery products and seasonal offerings
- Work collaboratively with the wider store team to ensure an excellent customer experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Baker in a supermarket, bakery, café, or food production environment
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and production processes
- HACCP knowledge and excellent food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexible approach to working hours, including early morning shifts where required
