Future Proof Training and the Irish Barista Academy are seeking an experienced and personable individual to join our growing team as a Barista Trainer & Training Consultant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move away from shift work, evenings and weekends while continuing to work within an industry they enjoy. The role combines training delivery, relationship building and business development across Galway and the West of Ireland.

The Role

You will deliver practical Barista training courses while building relationships with cafés, hospitality businesses, schools, community groups and employers throughout the region.

Your experience and knowledge will help learners gain confidence, develop employable skills and achieve recognised training qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Barista Skills Training to individuals and groups.
• Promote training programmes including Barista Skills, HACCP and Manual Handling.
• Develop relationships with local businesses and organisations.
• Attend networking events, training exhibitions and community events.
• Support the growth of training programmes across the region.
• Provide guidance and encouragement to learners of all ages.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards with clients and trainees.
• Assist with local marketing and promotional activities.

About You

We welcome applications from individuals who:

• Have previous Barista, Hospitality or Catering experience.
• Enjoy helping, mentoring and supporting others.
• Are confident communicating with people from all backgrounds.
• Have strong organisational and relationship-building skills.
• Can work independently and manage their own schedule.
• Bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a positive attitude.

Previous training or sales experience is beneficial but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
