The position combines customer service, sales support, and administrative responsibilities, playing a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by handling trade counter and telephone enquiries.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch notes, proof of deliveries (PODs), and picking dockets.
• Work collaboratively with internal sales teams across multiple product ranges.
• Resolve customer queries, issues, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Process product returns and ensure a positive customer outcome.
• Support sales operations through a variety of administrative tasks related to order fulfilment and distribution.
• Listen to customer requirements and provide effective solutions and advice.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workspace.
• Promote and uphold health and safety standards across the trade counter area for both customers and colleagues.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, trade counter, customer service, or warehouse environments.
• At least 2 years’ experience operating a forklift.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organised with strong time management abilities.
• A motivated team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Full clean driving licence.
