Supermarket Store Manager – Dublin

Our client, a leading retailer in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Store Manager who can bring strong commercial acumen, exceptional people leadership, and a proven track record of transforming store performance.

As Store Manager, you will have full accountability for the day-to-day operation, commercial performance, and strategic development of a high-volume retail store. You will lead from the front, inspire your management team, and ensure the highest standards across fresh food, customer service, operations, and profitability.

This is a business-critical leadership role offering the autonomy to make an impact while working within a progressive and people-focused retail organisation.

What’s on Offer

• Excellent salary package of €80,000 – €100,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a large management and store team
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and overall store performance
• Champion excellence across fresh food departments
• Deliver exceptional customer service standards throughout the store
• Identify and execute commercial opportunities to maximise revenue
• Manage labour costs, budgets, stock control and waste management
• Lead store improvement projects, refurbishments, and operational revamps
• Build a strong performance culture focused on accountability and results
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company procedures
• Recruit, train and develop future retail leaders within the business

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior grocery retail management role
• Proven experience as a Store Manager, General Manager, or Area Manager within food retail
• Strong fresh food management background
• Demonstrated success driving sales, margin, and KPI performance
• Experience leading store revamps, refurbishments, or turnaround projects
• Exceptional people leadership and coaching skills
• Commercially focused with strong financial and operational understanding
• Passionate about customer experience and team development
• Results-driven with the ability to influence and motivate large teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
