Store Manager – Tullamore, Co. Offaly

Our client, a successful and growing Irish retail business, is seeking a driven and commercially strong Store Manager to take charge of their flagship store in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail leader who is confident in creating a welcoming, customer focused environment, team development and achieving commercial targets, to lead from the front.

This role is ideally suited to candidates from Big Box, discount, DIY, grocery, homeware or other high-volume retail environments who are passionate about people, commercial performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a large retail team to deliver outstanding results.
• Drive sales, productivity and store KPIs through strong commercial leadership.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
• Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day running of a busy, high-volume store.
• Maintain excellent merchandising, stock control and operational standards.
• Coach and develop your team through regular feedback, training and performance management.
• Create a positive, energetic and customer-focused culture within the store.

Skills & Experience

• Previous Store Manager experience within a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Background in Big Box, discount, grocery, DIY or similar retail sectors is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop large teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience delivering sales growth and achieving KPIs.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the shop floor and leading by example.
