Store Manager – Premium Off-Licence – South Dublin
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Store Manager to take the lead of a well-established premium off-licence and specialist drinks store in South Dublin Area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong retail manager who has a genuine interest in wine, spirits and premium products and enjoys delivering a knowledgeable, high-quality customer experience.
As Store Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation and commercial performance of the store, leading your team, driving sales and ensuring consistently high standards across customer service, merchandising and store presentation.
Salary : €45k – €50k plus bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the store.
- Drive sales, profitability and overall store performance against agreed targets and KPIs.
- Deliver a premium customer experience, ensuring customers receive knowledgeable and engaging service.
- Lead, motivate and develop the store team, creating a positive and performance-focused environment.
- Manage stock ordering, availability, rotation and stock accuracy across wine, spirits, beer and premium product ranges.
- Maintain excellent merchandising and product presentation standards throughout the store.
- Manage payroll, rostering, staffing levels and operational costs.
- Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve performance.
- Ensure promotional activity, pricing and product displays are implemented correctly.
- Develop strong product knowledge within the team through coaching and training.
- Maintain excellent operational, compliance and store standards.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and effectively.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Off-Licence Manager with a strong background in retail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Previous experience within an off-licence, wine retailer, premium grocery environment or specialist retail business would be particularly advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong retail management and team leadership experience.
- Experience managing sales, stock, payroll and KPIs.
- A genuine interest in wine, spirits and premium beverages.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to drive store performance.
- High standards around merchandising and store presentation.
- A hands-on, energetic and engaging management style.
- WSET qualifications or previous wine training would be highly advantageous, although further training can be provided.
