Store Manager – Premium Retail | Galway

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a well-established premium retail store in Galway.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded Irish retail business with a fabulous company culture and a lovely, established team. We are looking for a people-focused and commercially minded Store Manager who can build on the store’s success, inspire their team and continue to deliver an exceptional experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop an established retail team
• Drive store sales and consistently achieve or exceed KPIs and commercial targets
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with a strong focus on premium service
• Create a positive, engaging and supportive team culture
• Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential
• Oversee visual merchandising and ensure the store is presented to an exceptional standard
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and improve store performance
• Manage stock, rotas, payroll and day-to-day store operations
• Lead from the shop floor and ensure consistently high standards across all areas of the store

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ retail management experience, ideally within fashion, jewellery, lifestyle or homewares
• Proven track record of delivering strong sales and achieving KPIs
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong coaching and team development experience
• Excellent understanding of visual merchandising and premium retail presentation
• Commercially aware with a genuine passion for retail and customer experience
• A positive, hands-on management style with the ability to engage and motivate a team
