Store Manager – Tipperary

Excel Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading retail operator in the search for an experienced Site Operations Manager for a high-volume, multi-department site in Tipperary.

This opportunity will suit a commercially driven Site Operations Manager, Senior Retail Manager, or Hospitality Manager with experience in hotels, catering, or food and beverage environments. If you have successfully led large teams of 100+ across multiple departments and thrive in fast-paced, operationally complex settings, this role offers real scope to make your mark.

With a salary of €60,000-€70,000 DOE, this is a senior leadership position where you will take full ownership of day-to-day operations while shaping a high-performing, accountable, and energetic culture.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Site Manager will play a pivotal role in pushing the business forward, identifying opportunities for growth, and strengthening operational excellence across all departments.

Responsibilities as Site Operations Manager, you will:

• Take full ownership of daily site operations across retail, food service, and forecourt divisions
• Lead, inspire, and develop a large multi-department team of 100+ staff
• Shape and drive a performance-focused culture built on accountability, innovation, and energy
• Oversee strategic planning and operational execution to achieve commercial targets
• Manage recruitment, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives
• Ensure strong HR practices, compliance, and performance management standards
• Monitor KPIs, margins, labour costs, and overall site profitability
• Implement operational best practices to enhance efficiency and customer experience
• Maintain full compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and regulatory requirements

Requirements as Site Operations Manager role would suit someone who brings:

• 5+ years’ senior management experience within forecourt retail, hospitality, hotel, catering, or food and beverage environments
• Proven experience managing large teams of 100+ across multiple departments
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of driving revenue and profitability
• A solid grasp of HR best practice, employee relations, and workforce planning
• Experience delivering operational improvements in high-volume environments
• A confident leadership style with the ability to motivate, influence, and hold teams accountable
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong strategic outlook
