Store Manager – Forecourt Retail – Mullingar, Co. Westmeath

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Store Manager on behalf of a well-established and rapidly expanding forecourt retailer with a strong presence across Ireland.

This is a senior management position suited to a commercially minded retailer who thrives on driving sales, leading teams and maintaining exceptional store standards. The successful candidate will take full operational responsibility for the store while building a strong team culture and delivering a first-class customer experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous Store Manager or senior retail management experience within convenience, grocery or forecourt retail
• A proven track record of delivering strong sales growth and achieving KPIs
• A natural people leader with the ability to motivate, coach and develop teams
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to improve store performance
• A driven and ambitious individual who wants to progress their career within retail management

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive store sales, profitability and operational standards
• Lead, mentor and develop your management team and staff through training, coaching and performance reviews
• Manage and execute in-store and national promotions
• Monitor store performance through reports and data analysis to maximise operational efficiency
• Ensure exceptional customer service and store presentation standards
• Maintain strong stock control, compliance and operational procedures
• Foster a positive team culture focused on performance and development
