Store Manager – Carlow

Excel Recruitment are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead a busy and successful supermarket operation in Carlow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong retail manager who is commercially driven, passionate about developing teams, and confident taking full ownership of store performance.

Salary – €50,000 – €55,000

The Role:

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store
• Lead, motivate and develop a large retail team
• Drive sales, profitability and overall store performance
• Manage staffing, rosters, recruitment and training
• Maintain excellent customer service and store standards
• Oversee stock control, ordering, waste and availability
• Ensure strong merchandising and promotional standards
• Manage costs, productivity and operational performance
• Ensure all company, health & safety and compliance standards are maintained

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous Store Manager or senior retail management experience
• Strong grocery or high-volume retail background
• Proven experience leading and developing teams
• Commercially focused with a strong understanding of KPIs
• Excellent operational and organisational skills
• Hands-on leadership style with a strong customer focus
• Ambitious and driven to deliver results
